Yoga at IYSSB

  • Please come to yoga with an empty stomach – you should have not eaten for about an hour before you practice. You may drink up to half an hour before class – we do not drink water in class.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in easily. Leggings can be worn, or shorts. You need freedom of movement, but please don’t forget that the teacher needs to see your body to get as much information as possible about your alignment in poses.
  • We practice yoga with bare feet – please remove your shoes upon entering IYSSB.
  • Please do not come to class wearing perfumes or scented lotions – some students are allergic to these.
  • Arrive in time to sign in and pay for your class.
